Embed a meeting in your application
Use FaceMeet’s browser widget with a server-generated join URL.
Server first
Create a meeting and a join URL through the integration API. Your application must authorize the person before requesting the appropriate role. Send only the resulting join URL to that person's browser.
Add the widget
<div id="meeting" style="height: 640px"></div>
<script src="https://app.facemeet.net/embed.js"></script>
<script>
FaceMeet.mount(document.getElementById('meeting'), {
url: 'JOIN_URL_FROM_YOUR_SERVER'
});
</script>
The widget loads the meeting iframe API and provides microphone, camera, and screen-sharing permissions to the iframe. Configure your application's permissions policy accordingly. Your HTTPS origin must be present in the integration's allowed origins.
When the meeting ends, the widget removes the meeting frame and shows its ended state. The element receives facemeet:* DOM events from the widget. Inspect the supplied embed.js implementation for the current event names before using them in your application.
SDK availability
FaceMeet provides this browser embed widget and HTTP APIs. The examples here use standard HTTP clients; a separately versioned official SDK package is not supplied by this application.
