Privacy and access control
FaceMeet is built so that only the people you invite get into your meetings, and only you can read your recordings.
Gated meetings
Every meeting requires a signed access token issued by FaceMeet. Unknown visitors cannot open a room.
Encrypted recordings
Each recording is encrypted with its own AES-256 key before it leaves the recording server.
Permanent deletion
When a recording is permanently deleted, its key is destroyed, so stored copies can no longer be decrypted.

Frequently asked questions
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. Guests open the invitation link and join from a modern browser on desktop or mobile. Only hosts need a FaceMeet account.
Is there a free plan?
Creating an account is free and lets you join meetings. Hosting meetings requires a paid plan; the pricing page lists every plan and its limits.
How are recordings protected?
Each recording is encrypted with its own key before it is uploaded. Only your organization can download it. Deleted recordings stay in the trash for 30 days; when a recording is permanently deleted, its key is destroyed.
Where are my meetings hosted?
On servers operated by FaceMeet. Meetings are not routed through a third-party conferencing provider.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile.
Can my whole team use one account?
Yes. Invite colleagues to your organization, assign roles, and share meetings and recordings within your plan's seats.
Is there an API?
Plans with API access can create personal API tokens to manage meetings from your own tools.
